The World Today
The world is a scary place today, as we watch the news and see all the corruption and fighting - the hate we have for each other and no respect for the lives of each other. I know that it can be very overwhelming and we sometimes feel there is no hope left for us and our children. But you need to know that God is in control of what is going on in our world today. It may not seem like it - But He is.
We are actually living in, and seeing prophecy unfolding right before our eyes. Everything that is happening in our world today has been prophesied. These things have to happened before Jesus returns. So if you understand this and know that He is in control, then you can rest a lot easier. Just keep looking up for his coming - It won't be long.
In Matthew 24:3, Christ's disciples asked, What shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world ? The Saviour proceeded to describe those world events which would both indicate His return and culminate in the Day of the Lord.
New Testament Signs of the Endtimes:
In Luke 21:28, And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.

False Christs and False Prophets (Matthew 24:25, 2 Peter2:1)

Wars and rumors of wars (Mark13:7, Matthew 24:6)

Famines, earthquakes in diverse places, pestilences (Luke 21:11)

Gospel of the kingdom preached to all the world (Matthew 24.14)

Signs in the sun, moon, the stars, sea and waves roaring (Luke 17:26-30, 21:25-27)

Introduction of evil spirits which control cults and false religions (Timothy 4:1,2)

Most judgement described in the Book of Revelation, chapters 6-18, are identical to the signs found in Matthew 24 and Luke chapters 17 and 21.
These signs of Christ's Second Coming are in evidence worldwide, and increasing both in frequency and intensity.
The Rapture:
All of the prophesy's in the bible regarding the second coming of Christ has been fulfilled, except the Rapture. The Rapture is the next occurrence on God's calendar and is the literal, visible and bodily return of Christ in the clouds. He shall return as He left (Acts 1:9-11).
One can easily know how He departed by studying Luke 24:39. He had a new resurrected body of flesh and bones - a body that could be seen, touched and fed. (vss, 41-43), When he returns in the clouds, all believers, dead and alive will also be taken bodily to meet Him in the clouds. We shall be changed as this mortal body puts on immortality and is transformed to be like Jesus' body. This happens in a moment, in "the twinkling of an eye." (1 Corinthains 15:51-54; Psalm 17:15; 1John 3:2)
The Things That Are Happening:
The things that are happening in our world today, will continue to get worse, but everything is under Gods control. There is evil in our world and God will sort it out. After all, He is God. God knows how to handle it all, we just have to trust Him, for God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you have asked Jesus to forgive you, your sins, and to be your Saviour, then you have know reason to fear the things that are happening today.
But if you have not asked the Lord for forgiveness, it is not to late. Once the Rapture happens it will be to late, so please Ask Jesus, today, to come into your life, ask him for forgiveness - and you will be saved! That is His promise. Pray these words below:
